Overview
Chris Fischer chose to work in primary care to build long-lasting patient-provider relationships. He enjoys managing patients' preventive health, chronic conditions, and acute symptoms. After practicing as a medical assistant for six years, Chris returned to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Denver College of Nursing. As a registered nurse, he grew to appreciate the need for primary care providers and the role nurse practitioners play in delivering patient care. This appreciation led Chris to pursue a master’s degree from the University of Colorado, which explicitly focused on adult care.“I am dedicated to preventive care and evidence-based medicine. I utilize patient-centered healthcare plans focused on health promotion, well-being, and disease prevention.”Outside of the office, Chris enjoys being outdoors in beautiful Colorado. He likes running, hiking, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and his two dogs.
