Overview
I am a pediatric nurse practitioner who has been working with families and children with congenital heart defects and acquired heart disease for many years. I have been a member of the Duke Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center since 2009. I enjoy helping children and their families throughout their medical journey. I am one of the first people that families meet at their outpatient clinic visit and I follow them as long as they require cardiology care. This can be a very scary and unknown journey for families to embark upon, and I like being a familiar, knowledgeable, and friendly face that they can recognize, and someone on which they can depend. I am originally from Western New York, spent the first half of my career in Boston, Massachusetts, and finally settled in Cary, North Carolina where my family and I now call home. I enjoy yoga and running, and being outdoors as much as possible.
