Overview
Dr. Christopher Williamson is a board-eligible Radiation Oncologist with a unique background in medical physics and over a decade of experience in the field. He began his career after earning a master's degree in Medical Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, working for 10 years in Radiation Oncology before pursuing his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency training at Emory University, where he developed a strong foundation in advanced cancer treatment techniques and patient-centered care.Dr. Williamson has particular clinical interests in stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), prostate cancer, and head and neck cancers. He brings a technically sophisticated and compassionate approach to cancer care, drawing on his deep understanding of both the physics and clinical aspects of radiation therapy.Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling with his wife, biking, following Formula1, and spending time outdoors with their dog.
