Osteopathic medicine brings a whole-person approach to care by focusing on looking beyond mere symptoms to understand how lifestyle and environmental factors impact well-being. | Why I entered medicine | I entered medicine to make a difference in the lives of others. With chronic diseases at epidemic levels in our country and throughout much of the world, many people are yearning for a healthier, fitter, simpler, more connected and meaningful existence. Indeed, we are entering into a wellness revolution regarding personal health. People are realizing health is their most valuable asset and essential for well-being and happiness. This shift will have monumental benefit to individuals, communities, societies, ecosystems and indeed the planet as a whole. What better legacy to leave future generations! | Community involvement | My wife and I are involved with church and health-related groups to strengthen society's health and spiritual commitments. | Personal interests | We live in Pennsylvania, are growing our family and enjoying the outdoors. As a hobby we grow organic fruits and vegetables for our personal kitchen. My wife and our family mean everything to me.
