Overview
As a physician assistant in cardiology, I enjoy working with patients to manage their cardiac concerns. Whether it’s a symptom they’re experiencing or a diagnosis they were given, my job is to work alongside them to improve their health and quality of life. I appreciate the diversity of conditions I’m able to care for while working in cardiology, but I’m especially interested in congestive heart failure, valvular disease, coronary artery disease and preventive care. The most enjoyable part of being a physician assistant in cardiology is establishing relationships with patients, building trust, listening and teaching in order to provide the best care I can. It’s very important to me to clearly understand the patient and their goals, so that together we can individualize a plan tailored to best suit them.
