I find it deeply rewarding to stabilize acute issues, coordinate the care team, and see patients improve—often within just a few hours. Moments like these remind me why I chose a career in medicine in the first place.I was drawn to internal medicine because I value the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during critical moments.
