Overview
I chose to work at DPC Apex for the opportunity to work closer to home. My family moved to North Carolina in 1996 when I was still in elementary school, and despite moving around for schooling and training, I still consider the Triangle and North Carolina my home. I chose family medicine because of continuity of care and the ability to build relationships with patients over time. I enjoy the challenge of caring for patients with a variety of chronic medical conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, discussing recommended preventive health measures, and collaborating with patients to develop health plans that consider their preferences. I believe that as a physician, you are always evolving, and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t learn something new about medicine from my patients.
