Overview
Daiji Kano, MD, is a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in minimally invasive bariatric, hernia and gastrointestinal surgeries with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery, he has clinical expertise in several forms of bariatric surgery including gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and revisional surgery using minimally invasive techniques for faster recovery with less pain. As a clinical assistant professor at Columbia University in NYC, he teaches residents and medical students at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ.Dr. Kano is multilingual, fluent in Japanese with limited proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish.
