Care philosophy: My approach to care is recognizing that at the core, we are all human and we all deserve empathy and understanding for each other. Being a patient can be intimidating and overwhelming, and I wish to show to all my patients that they are heard and valued as not only an integral member of the team, but as a person. I will always embrace and encourage my patients to share their perspectives when it comes to their care to provide an experience that is above and beyond the typical healthcare encounter.Why I became a medical provider: I have always been interested in medicine, but following a life-changing diagnosis in my teens where I spent a good portion of two and a half years in the hospital, I knew that my purpose was in this field. Being able to be there for someone during one of their darkest moments in life is something that I hold very dear to my heart and continues to motivate me to provide the best care for those I treat.
