Danielle Rodgers, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric and adolescent medicine doctor. She’s also an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.Dr. Rodgers cares for children from birth through young adulthood. She provides preventative care through well visits, treats common illnesses and injuries such as ear infections and Strep throat, and partners with subspecialists in the evaluation and care of more complex conditions.With a special interest in preventive medicine, Dr. Rodgers works together with families to help children stay healthy. She provides routine checkups to monitor each patient’s nutrition, growth, and development. If children are struggling with mental health issues, she guides them to the right treatment.During initial visits, Dr. Rodgers takes time to get to know her young patients. She carefully studies their medical history and listens to their family’s concerns. She works to help every infant, toddler, child, and teen feel as comfortable as possible.Her goal is to teach each child how to take good care of themselves and make healthy lifestyle choices as they grow up.During her free time, Dr. Rodgers enjoys spending time with her family - biking, playing sports and board games, reading and exploring national parks.It’s so rewarding to watch kids grow and see their personalities emerge — as we work to help them stay healthy.
