Overview
I have been a practicing physician assistant for more than 27 years. I have enjoyed time in several different specialties: family practice, ENT, urgent care and emergency medicine. Most recently, I spent 12 years in a mix of urgent care and emergency medicine. I love being able to help patients with their immediate health problems as well as their overall wellness. I look at the patient, patient's family and health care provider as a unique team, and see myself as a coach and guide on this team. I love meeting new patients and trying to understand and meet their needs and goals as much as possible. One of my favorite parts of urgent care medicine is procedural care: sutures, skin lesions, fracture care, orthopedic care, etc.
