Dr. David Ali is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Urology and Orlando Health Cancer Institute. His specialties include: Prostate cancer Bladder cancer Kidney tumors Adrenal tumors Upper tract urothelial cancer Enlarged prostate Elevated PSA Kidney stones Dr. Ali believes in treating patients like family. As the first physician in his family, he has firsthand knowledge of what it feels like to navigate a healthcare system. Dr. Ali’s Training Dr. Ali graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, where he also earned his master’s degree in public health with a concentration in community health. He received his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York where he awarded a distinction of research. Dr. Ali completed his general and urologic surgery residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, where he served as chief resident, and his urologic oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine's Brady Urological Institute in Baltimore. About Dr. Ali Dr. Ali is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Beta and Golden Key honor societies. He has observed urologic surgery in Japan, led program development for non-clinical counseling services for autistic and developmentally disabled children and adolescents, and served as an emergency medical technician. Dr. Ali is passionate about serving the local community and has led programming to improve access to healthcare. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals. Outside of work, Dr. Ali enjoys spending time with family, swimming, kayaking, hiking and camping.
