Overview
Dr. David Levine is a board-certified pediatrician with Atlantic Medical Group. Dedicated to the care of newborns, adolescents and teenagers, he is focused on the ongoing health and overall well-being throughout a child’s developmental years. Dr. Levine’s caring and approachable manner instills confidence in parents, while he develops a rapport with his young patients. With nearly 20 years of experience and dedication to young people and their families, Dr. Levine is a skilled and knowledgeable diagnostician. He takes time to listen to parent concerns and is an advocate for those suffering from postpartum depression, recognizing it as a real concern for both mothers and fathers. Dr. Levine has spoken extensively on the topic of paternal postpartum depression in lectures and in media appearances. He currently serves on the board of Postpartum Support International, a non-profit focused on promoting awareness, prevention, and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing. After earning his degree with honors from New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Levine completed his internship and residency at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, ranked among the best children’s hospitals in the nation. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization. When he is not practicing pediatrics, he enjoys movies, sports – especially the Giants, Rangers and Mets – and plotting with his children to take over the world … until his wife tells him to stop.
