Dr. David S. Brink is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Pediatric Pathology. He provides pediatric biopsy and autopsy interpretation, as well as adult and pediatric renal biopsy interpretation. Dr. Brink is a tenured professor of pathology and pediatrics in the Department of Pathology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He serves as the director of the Renal Biopsy Service. Dr. Brink is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the Society for Pediatric Pathology, and the Renal Pathology Society. A native of St. Louis, Dr. Brink has been affiliated with Saint Louis University since 1990 and is a protégé of the late Luis Salinas-Madrigal, MD, and a former colleague of Guillermo Herrera, MD. Outside of medicine, he is a Shakespeare enthusiast and dog-lover.
