Dr. David Chi

David H. Chi, MD, is a pediatric otolaryngologist and is certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is associate professor of otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, chief of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology, and director of the Hearing Center and Cochlear Implant Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Chi received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his otolaryngology residency at the University of Virginia, followed by his pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at UPMC Children’s. Dr. Chi’s clinical interests include evaluation and treatment of pediatric sensorineural hearing loss and treatment outcomes of pediatric otitis media. He has extensive articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, and Society for Ear, Nose, and Throat Advances in Children. He enjoys his free time with his wife and three children.
