Dr. David H. Haight
Overview
Dr. Haight has a private practice specializing in corneal and refractive surgery. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
In 1991, he became the Chief Coordinator for the Excimer Laser Study at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. In that capacity, he performed pioneering research that helped lead to FDA approval of the excimer. Dr. Haight was the first in downstate New York to perform excimer laser vision correction. Since 1991, Dr. Haight has treated the full range of conditions from simple nearsightedness to severe corneal disease.
Dr. Haight continues to be involved in the development of the excimer laser and related technologies.
The office is located in the heart of Manhattan between Third and Lexington Avenues. The office is just steps away from uptown, downtown, and cross-town bus stops and only 4 blocks from the Lexington Avenue subway line. We feature state of the art diagnostic equipment in a spacious newly renovated street level office with handicapped accessible features.
