This includes the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and environmental aspects of each patient. All these elements are incorporated into creating an individualized and balanced plan of care. | Why I entered medicine | Throughout my adolescent years I struggled with a heart condition that sparked my interest in medicine, which eventually led to my career in nursing. I have always had a love for science and a passion for helping others; I am a natural caretaker. I worked as an intensive care unit nurse for nine years at LVHN prior to obtaining my nurse practitioner degree at DeSales University. | Community involvement | I love animals and have been involved in animal rescue the past 10 years. I volunteer and foster dogs for a local rescue. I am often involved in fundraising events. I also enjoy walking and spending time with dogs at local animal shelters. I have two rescue dogs: Harry and Dozer! | Personal interests | My daughter was born in August 2022, and she is my world. Becoming a mother has been such a blessing and is the most important thing in my life!! Other interests include traveling, the beach, trying new food/restaurants and enjoying the company of my family and friends.
