Overview
I enjoy working with children from birth to age 21, and am especially interested in helping children with special health care needs. I help them learn to live a life focused on fun and achievement rather than on disease, while also keeping their chronic illnesses under control. I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, and I’m learning to speak Somali and Spanish. Park Nicollet Minneapolis pediatric clinic is a medical home where families can focus on each other, and we help them navigate the health care maze to limit duplication and frustration. I have worked with children since 1987, but knew I wanted to work in pediatrics since I was 18 years old. Looking back over the years, I know I made the right decision and feel very blessed to be able to work in this field.
