Overview
Working with lung transplant patients as part of the Duke Lung Transplant Program is an incredible privilege. In the lung transplant clinic, we work as part of a multi-disciplinary care team to help patients with end-stage lung disease to discuss lung transplantation. It is incredibly rewarding to see patients prior to lung transplantation on oxygen, in the immediate post-transplant period, and then during follow-up visits to see how their lives have changed. I enjoy the mix of work in the clinic, the general medical ward, the intensive care unit, and the procedure suite. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy exercising, hiking, music of all kinds, and spending time with friends and family.
