Overview
Dr. Steimer serves as a surgeon in the Division of Thoracic Surgery and holds a clinical instructor position at Harvard Medical School. She practices at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Southcoast Hospital. Graduating with a medical degree from the University of Kentucky, she completed her general surgery training at Baylor University Medical Center. Furthering her expertise, she underwent cardiothoracic surgical residency and an additional fellowship in foregut and general thoracic surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
