Philosophy of care | My philosophy is to form a professional trusting relationship between you and me. I believe it is important for a provider to be attentive, informative and most importantly compassionate toward their patients. | Why I entered medicine | All my life I have been surrounded by people who work in medicine, leading me to develop a tremendous respect for those in the field. Medicine is a challenge, but one that brings great rewards. Experiencing the joy of giving a patient good news, the pride of finding the right diagnosis, and the gratitude expressed by those you cared for makes the challenge worth it. | Community involvement | At this point in my career I have not had the chance to become involved with community or charity events. In the future I hope to use my education in medicine to help others and volunteer in my community. | Personal interests | I spend as much of my free time as I can with friends and family. We enjoy hiking, skiing and attending Penn State football games. I also have two dogs I look forward to seeing and playing with every day.
