Overview
I am a general psychiatrist who has been in practice for three decades. Most of my practice is in general psychiatry with specialty areas of eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders and the management of illness in pregnant and postpartum women. I do psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and also practice cognitive-behavioral techniques where appropriate. I am a member of the Academy of Eating Disorders. Throughout my career, I have been involved in the clinical teaching and supervision of medical students and residents.
