For the first 20 years of my medical career, I worked as an emergency medicine physician. Later, I obtained additional training in hospice and palliative care. My particular interests include symptom management, hospice care and palliative care for patients with advanced lung disease. I feel blessed to be part of a dedicated team of palliative medicine specialists, and I am passionate about improving quality of life for patients who are dealing with a serious illness. Relieving suffering while offering care and compassion to patients and families during such difficult times motivates me every day.
