He received a master's degree in animal biology at the Lebanese University and went on to earn his medical degree at the Lebanese American University where he also completed his diagnostic and interventional radiology residency. He then completed fellowships in nuclear medicine and cross-sectional body imaging at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
