Dr. Buisker always loved learning about how the body works and the disease processes that affect it and wanted to have a career where she could apply her knowledge and work directly with patients.“I believe in using evidence-based medicine along with thorough patient-physician discussion to guide healthcare decisions. It is a privilege to share in patients’ lives during good times and not so good times. I enjoy educating patients on how to better care for themselves to stay healthy and out of the doctor’s office and hospital. I believe in meeting patients where they are in their desire to change and manage their illnesses. Creating relationships while caring for patients is the reason I chose family medicine.”As a family medicine physician, Dr. Buisker enjoys taking care of patients in all stages of life, helping patients to stay healthy and be there when they are sick. She is passionate about preventative medicine and Orthopedic diseases. When she is not at work, Dr. Buisker enjoys traveling with her family, hiking Fourteeners and enjoying a good book.
