I chose to pursue a career in emergency medicine to help patients during a difficult time and make a difference. Being a patient or family member, in the emergency department can be a stressful event. It is natural to be scared or anxious over what is causing your symptoms and the unknown. I went into emergency medicine to be able to quickly establish a relationship and trust with patients and family members to help relieve pain and anxiety, and ultimately improve their treatment course.What I want my patients to know about me:I also work as the Medical Director for Quality and Innovation for the WellSpan Medical Group. Working with providers throughout the system to strive for the highest quality of care and safety is crucial in establishing healthy communities in the region.
