Specialties: Acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries; Sports concussion management in young athletes Elizabeth Davis, MD, FAAP, joined the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in 2012, serving as a pediatric sports medicine specialist at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She is board certified in pediatrics and sports medicine. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Dr. Davis completed her pediatric residency and pediatric sports medicine fellowship at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer. Her clinical interests include concussions in young athletes, and nutrition and bone health for adolescent athletes. She is also involved in pediatric resident and sports medicine fellow education. Dr. Davis currently serves as a team physician for the Orlando City Soccer Club, Wekiva High School and the Orlando Ballet, where she also serves as their Medical Director. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and PRiSM (Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine).
