Philosophy of care | I provide compassionate and holistic pediatric care, individualized and with cultural competence. I also focus on continuity of care, maintaining a healthy relationship with patient families built on trust. I promote in you a healthy lifestyle. | Why I entered medicine | I developed a passion for medicine during childhood. Many family members on my father's side are in the medical field and acted as role models. From playing doctor at a young age and growing up and developing a passion for helping others, medicine was a clear pathway for me. | Community involvement | I have always had a passion for getting involved in my community. I did health fairs throughout New York City, providing health screening and education. I made annual trips hosted by Corinthian Medical IPA New York to at-risk communities in the Dominican Republic. I provide care to poor communities that includes health promotion and disease prevention. When the pandemic hit New York, I volunteered to provide COVID-19 testing, education and vaccination. I have always had a passion for teaching others, educating parents about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and guiding their children. I have been a preceptor for nurse-practitioner students more than 10 years. | Personal interests | Outside of the medical field I enjoy reading, singing and traveling the world learning about cultures.
