Overview
I love being a family physician because it allows me to build meaningful, long-term relationships with people of all ages and identities. While I enjoy working with patients during periods of illness to diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions, I am most passionate about promoting wellness and preventing disease. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults to build a foundation of wellness that can last a lifetime. My interests in medicine are broad and include women's health, integrative approaches to medicine, and chronic disease management. Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, exploring the Triangle's food scene with my husband, and reading a good book.
