Overview
Emily Durham Arceneaux, PA-C joined the Ochsner team as a PA Fellow in February 2021. After completion of her surgical fellowship in 2022 she joined the Ochsner team full-time, specializing in OBGYN surgery. Prior to attending PA school, Emily received a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, LA. She then earned a Master of Medical Science degree from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU) in Baton Rouge, LA. Emily is an active member of the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants (LAPA) as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants (AASPA). Emily is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME). Her interests include all aspects of surgery, as well as clinical research and patient advocacy.
