Overview
Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude with a�degree in biology from North Carolina State University. She earned a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado: Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora. Emily has been working as a physician assistant for the last six years. Her clinical interests include obstetrics and contraception counseling. Emily chose to go into the OB/Gyn field for the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients that will continue through each stage of their life, while also empowering women to make informed decisions about their body.
�I believe in approaching every patient with empathy and compassion, and strive to create a collaborative environment where women feel comfortable�whether it is discussing their health, their pregnancy or receiving their annual exams.�
When not visiting with her patients, Emily spends her free time with her daughter, partner and cat. She is a Colorado Rapids soccer fan, enjoys art and live music and is on a hunt for the best local food in Colorado.
