I decided to become a doctor because it allowed me to blend two of my passions in life: helping others and science. Anesthesia allows me to keep patients safe during one of the most critical times in their life: surgery. I see anesthesia as a team effort, involving the surgeon, nurses, nurse anesthetists, and the anesthesiologist. In my free time, I love reading, cooking, and hiking.
