Overview
I chose to pursue a career in Palliative Care because I believe that medicine should focus not only on the disease, but the person suffering from that disease. Palliative Care allows me to be an advocate for the quality of life and human dignity of my patients, while helping them (and their families) navigate medically complex choices with their values and goals in mind.What I want my patients to know about me:I was born and raised in southern New Jersey and I lived there most of my life. In 2023, I came to Pennsylvania to join the excellent Palliative Care team at WellSpan Chambersburg. After medical school, I completed my Emergency Medicine residency and Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship training at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. My professional interests include medical ethics and end of life What I do when I'm not seeing patients:My personal interests include gardening, vegetarian cooking and archaeology. When I am not seeing patients, I am usually spending time with my close-knit family and spoiling my little dog, Jeffrey.
