
Overview
Dr. Freed is the Percy and Mary Murphy Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health Delivery and the director of the Division of General Pediatrics. He received his medical degree and completed his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at the University of North Carolina where he also earned a Master of Public Health degree. His special clinical interest is preventive care for children.Our pediatricians provide evidence-based care for families. We are pro-vaccine and follow the AAP guidelines regarding the immunization schedule.
