Dr. Gene Labarge

Dr. Gene LaBarge provides comprehensive well-child and sick visits. He performs diagnostic clinical evaluations and evaluations for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He has particular interest in medical education, food insecurity and social determinants of health, pediatric and adolescent obesity, and inpatient medicine. Dr. LaBarge is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Academic Pediatrics, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a past president of the medical staff at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, and is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatric Association. Dr. LaBarge is a lifelong St. Louisan, dedicated to improving the well-being of the city and the children who reside within it.

Dr. Labarge is board certified in American Board Of Pediatrics , Drug Enforcement Administration , Missouri Dept Of Health/Narcotics&Dangerous Drugs , and Missouri State Board Of Registration. He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 5 peer reviewed articles.
