I started my nursing career at Duke Health as an inpatient RN. I went on to become a nurse practitioner and worked for many years in oncology. I came to realize my love for treating older adults and switched my specialty to work specifically with this age group. I grew up in Wisconsin, so am a Midwestern girl at heart, but I love living in North Carolina. I am proud to call this location home. I live in Raleigh with my husband and two children. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, cooking, and reading a good novel.
