I chose internal medicine and pediatrics because I enjoy working with the whole spectrum of ages - from birth through geriatrics. I especially enjoy helping patients to learn more about their health and helping to enable them to take more control over improving their own well-being. In my spare time, I am a busy mother of three soccer players. I am currently the board president of a local nonprofit organization that focuses on community-based development work in rural Haiti. I have traveled to Haiti several times and hope to continue work there when time allows.
