Hannah Harvey, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She performs a variety of women’s healthcare services, including annual gynecological exams and acute gynecological visits for pelvic infections, bleeding, pain, and other concerns.|She also monitors women throughout their pregnancies with prenatal and postpartum care by ordering imaging and labs and evaluating parent and child. And she performs office procedures, including Pap smears, culture collections, placement and removal of IUDs and Nexplanon devices, endometrial biopsies, incision and drainage for labial abscesses and Bartholin gland cysts and vulvar biopsies.|“I have a special interest in gynecological services, such as annual exams, to make sure all testing is up to date and in acute visits to treat any concerns that may arise. I make sure my patients have direction on the correct paths necessary to keep them healthy and safe,” she says.|Ms. Harvey earned her degree from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre.|What she loves most about her job is “building relationships with my patients throughout all life stages. It is an adjustment for women to progress through puberty, pregnancies, postpartum and into menopause. I find fulfillment in helping women accommodate with each transition so they can have a prosperous life.”|A native of Benton, Pa., Ms. Harvey chose to practice in her local community.|“My biggest inspiration in becoming a provider is my big sister,” she says. “I had a privilege of watching her earn a fulfilling career in healthcare, so I knew my love of science should be applied in the same direction.”.
