I have decades of experience working at Duke Health in a variety of settings. My passion has been caring for patients with cancer and I've spent much of m career working at the Duke Cancer Institute. My role as a nurse practitioner in thoracic surgery evolved to include lung cancer screening which allows me to focus on preventative medicine. I also see patients in our lung nodule program. Patient advocacy is the cornerstone of my practice and I always strive to help patients navigate the health system while doing all that they can to improve their health and well-being. Outside of work, you can find me hiking, running, birdwatching, eating good food, and spending time with my family.
