Dr. Hina Pandya

Dr. Pandya received her medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine, in Columbus, Ohio, and completed her internship training in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and her residency training in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. She later received a diploma in Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Pandya has been practicing medicine since 1995. Before joining Memorial Hermann Medical Group, she was an Assistant Professor at UT Houston Medical School, worked as a hospitalist at Memorial Hermann hospital TMC and cared for patients in Shanghai, China. She has a strong interest in preventive care and wellness as well as tropical and infectious diseases. Dr. Pandya sees patients 18 years and older. She believes in listening to her patients and strives to ensure they are involved in making decisions concerning their health. She believes in developing individualized treatment plans to help patients manage chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. Dr. Pandya is fluent in Gujarati, and has a basic understanding of Mandarin and Thai. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, Harris County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association. In her spare time Dr. Pandya enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, running, biking and traveling.
