As a surgeon, I believe I have a duty to give my best not only to my patient's well-being but to the advancement of the field of plastic surgery as a whole. This is evident in my involvement in teaching, research and serving the less fortunate here at home and around the world. As a plastic surgeon,I have a unique role where I can make substantial difference in someone's life with my skills. Whether it is ending the cruelty and abuse a boy has felt all his life from having enlarged breasts or the child who has been ostracized from society and community for a cleft lip or restoring beauty to a woman's face who has been the victim of domestic violence. It is very rewarding to know that my skills as a surgeon can permanently change a life forever. I am enthralled that my career gives me the opportunity to fulfill this personal mission.
