Philosophy of care | Each patient I approach is a puzzle, a complex and intricate human being. To solve such a puzzle, the best instrument is not a stethoscope or a blood pressure cuff, but my ears. As a philosophy of care, listening is first and foremost. | Why I entered medicine | After witnessing a family member undergo trauma, I remember the faces of the nurses, the doctors and especially the physician assistants (PA) who provided life-saving care. They sat down with my family and translated complex medicine into simple terms at a time my family needed it most. In that moment I knew that I'd be honored to one day provide the same attention to detail, selfless care and vibrant passion those medical providers displayed during that troubling time. | Community involvement | I am involved with the Polish-speaking community in the Poconos and Lehigh Valley. | Personal interests | I enjoy cycling, finding new restaurants and cuisines, traveling to bucket-list destinations, learning new languages and all things coffee – from brewing to drinking.
