Dr. Irene Wong

Dr. Irene Wong is primary care physician at Atlantic Medical Group Primary Care at Totowa. Dr. Wong is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. She completed her residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, New York, where she also served as chief resident and was the recipient of the Society of Teachers in Family Medicine Teacher of the Year Award. She joins Atlantic Medical Group from MediSys Health Network in Brooklyn, New York, where she was an attending physician and student preceptor. Dr. Wong offers expert patient-centered care in a variety of different conditions, including but not limited to: high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, upper respiratory infections, bladder infections, wellness exams (children and adults), and osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT). She is comfortable with seeing a variety of age groups, ranging from infants to the elderly. The office is currently accepting new patients and offering same-day appointments. In her spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys playing sports (volleyball and racquetball), cooking, reading, and spending time with her family friends.

Dr. Wong is board certified in American Board Of Family Medicine. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 7 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Wong is currently accepting new patients.
