Dr. Irina Patten was born in Ukraine and developed a passion for natural medicine from an early age. Her commitment to holistic healing deepened after losing her first husband to cancer and navigating her own health challenges with Lyme disease and mold toxicity, which inspired her to seek a more integrative, pharmaceutical-free approach to wellness.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Dr. Patten continued advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Genetics/Nutrigenomics. Today, she specializes in precision, root-cause medicine that combines acupuncture, genetics, advanced lab testing, nutrition, and holistic care to create highly personalized treatment plans.
By analyzing how genetic variations influence detoxification, inflammation, hormones, neurotransmitters, nutrient metabolism, and recovery capacity, Dr. Patten helps patients understand why standard approaches may have failed and how healing can be optimized at an individual level.
