Dr. Zide received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas finishing first in his class. He completed both his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas. While there, he served as Chief Resident and was awarded the W. He then completed his fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Zide serves as the Program Director of the Baylor Scott & White Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and UT Southwestern. Dr. Zide serves on multiple orthopaedic committees at a local and national level. He is active in clinical research and is an expert in the management of adolescent foot and ankle deformity. Dr. Zide has been selected as a Best Doctor in Collin County 2022 by D Magazine. Dr. Zide has been nominated for D Magazine's 2022 Best Docs .
