J. Carter Ralphe, MD, is a UW Health pediatric cardiologist and serves as the co-director of UW Health’sPediatric Heart Program. Using 3D-engineered cardiac tissue models, Dr. Ralphe and his team study gene mutations in the heart muscle. They hope to develop ways to predict disease progression and identify therapies to reverse or prevent disease symptoms.
