J. Peter Rubin, MD, MBA, FACS, is a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Rubin is Founding Chair of the UPMC Department of Plastic Surgery, the UPMC Endowed Professor of Plastic Surgery, Director of UPMC Wound Healing Services, and Professor of Bioengineering and Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. He founded the UPMC “Life After Weight Loss Center,” one of the first centers of excellence for plastic surgery after weight loss in the United States.
