Overview

Dr. Saladino has been involved in multiple aspects of pediatrics throughout Western Pennsylvania since graduating residency in 2007. For 11 years she provided primary care pediatric services to children in the communities north and west of Pittsburgh. She was active in her local hospital system, serving as Chair and Vice Chair of Pediatrics at Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital. In this role she was able to initiate the hospital’s involvement with Pennsylvania’s Keystone 10 breastfeeding support program. Her interest in breastfeeding also led her to become a board-certified lactation consultant in 2016. Her other interests include the care of children with complex medical needs. She served as the medical director of Pediatric Specialty Care in Hopewell, PA- a medical home for children with complex medical needs from 2008 until 2016. In 2018 she transitioned to her current role as a clinician educator at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh with a focus on primary care education and newborn medicine.
