Overview
I've always been interested in pediatrics and my commitment to become a pediatrician deepened when I became a father myself. I enjoy providing general pediatric care, and I have a special interest in newborn care, childhood nutrition, obesity management, asthma, children with special healthcare needs, genetics and metabolism, dental health and preventive care. Forming relationships with my patients and their families is important to me, and I focus on meeting people where they are to help make shared decisions. I often draw from my own experiences as a father of four when working with children and their families. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending my free time with my wife and our children. We spend a lot of time at our kid's sporting events. I also enjoy hiking in the National Parks and Minnesota State Parks, cross-country skiing and running.
