Jamie Jordan is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in cardiology. She began her career in Emergency Medicine before transitioning to cardiology, where she finds immense reward in seeing patients' quality of life improve following appropriate treatment. Jamie is dedicated to a patient-centered approach, treating all individuals with the dignity and respect she would wish for her own family. She is a strong proponent of shared decision-making, ensuring patients are actively involved in their care.Originally from southeastern Kentucky, Jamie pursued both her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2017. Her extensive certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association. She has also completed specialized training in Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma and Crisis Prevention & Intervention from the University of Kentucky.Jamie's philosophy regarding patient care emphasizes a collaborative spirit, believing that including patients in their treatment plans leads to the best outcomes.
